Mohamed Rangila- (Executive Manager of Infrastructure)

After completing his National Diploma in Information Technology, Mohamed moved to Johannesburg and began working as a .Net developer specializing in custom report building using reporting tools. As one of the first employees of ECN in 1995, he began his career at ECN as a Junior Java Developer and quickly progressed to Asterisk engineering and became a specialist in GSM routing and voice quality control across GSM networks.

As executive manager of ECN Infrastructure, Mohamed is responsible for the design, build and maintenance of all ECN sites country wide. His vast knowledge of power and cooling requirements in today’s high demanding data centre environments has enabled ECN to build carrier grade stable environments. Mohamed’s ability to assess a given situation or environment and formulate a quick action plan to solve the problem at hand has assured that ECN experiences minimal downtime in a crisis.
