Brynn Andrew – (Chief Technology Officer)
Brynn is responsible for the architecture, implementation and upgrading of ECN’s core network and switching platform. After graduating from Wits, Brynn joined Internet Solutions as a software developer specializing in Internet based technologies. He later moved into network engineering focusing on security, routers and QoS based solutions.
He returned to Wits in 2000 where, while completing an MSc, he worked on lowering latency and improving bandwidth across WAN’s. Before joining ECN as the IT manager in 2006, Brynn worked at Wits lecturing in the areas of systems architecture, computer networks and programming languages. Brynn joined ECN in 2006.
